Review of Darkhunters

I pretty much agree with the main review here, but the pace of the movie was a bit too slow, in my opinion. It was a good mood setter, steady & hypnotic, but we'd rented it as a "horror" movie of sorts, and rather would've liked a more of an adrenaline rush from time to time. Don't get me wrong, it had it's moments. And the special effects and camera work were pretty cool. And the story was compelling, if as I mentioned, too damned slow in unfolding.

What can I say? My wife fell asleep on it, and that was not exactly the night we had planned. It's nice they filmed it during the day. Maybe we can watch it together during the day when we're both alert enough to appreciate it better.
