Review of Julie

Julie (1956)
6/10
Look, up in the sky!

Warning: Spoilers
I have to agree with the other reviewers, this movie is almost like two separate stories from The Twilight Zone. You have the upper class socialite who plays golf and meets friends for drinks at the club while the second part of the movie has her being a stewardess bringing down a plane for a landing! There are some "get out of there fast" moments such as when she decides to run away from her psychopathic husband...but stops just in time to pack up her make-up. Julie is then on the run from one harrowing phone call to another. Wherever she goes, psycho husband follows. The final scene of the movie focuses on a distraught Julie after landing the plane as "The End" superimposes over her face. This movie is teetering on high camp, complimenting Midnight Lace perfectly!
