Great music video
8 March 2006
This is THE best music video. We see Willie Nelson's Teatro classic performed in a funky little theater as it is being recorded. We see intelligent shots of the musicians and their instruments. We see their glances and interactions. We see great dancers bring the music even more alive.

The pacing is great too, making it a really watchable. Sometimes it is song after song, sometimes there are cut-aways to the artists talking to one another, or pauses as we see the room get ready for the next song. It is really a movie, but it never sacrifices even one note of the music. You cannot say it is a movie about the making of the CD because the movie is a work of art itself that transcends the great CD.

This is what music video should be. It is a totally integrated experience of audio and visuals, intelligent, informative, warm and sexy. The CD, rightly regarded as one of Willie's best, is really a companion piece, a convenient reminder of the full experience which is the video.

Unfortunately, as of March 2006, not yet released on DVD.
