If it was produced in 1996 as stated in the entry it could not have been the first 3D, polygonal martial arts game, since the title would belong to Namco's Tekken instead (1994. Virtua Fighter featured revolutionary 3D graphics, multiple realistic fighting styles and also free movement, a feature which was missing from Namco's hit title of the following year, essentially a 2D-3D hybrid.
