What Was That All About?
29 June 2006
It was just a few days ago that I got the "Guinea Pig" box set, so naturally I have been watching ever film in the series. The first 2 films were rather good then I get to this one. Where the hell did this one come from?

The story opens up with an American talking about the upcoming story being true and how it could possibly happen to you. The story starts with a man who is depressed and isn't getting any respect at work. After staying in his apartment for 4 days in a row, he decides to kill himself. He proceeds to slit his wrists in a gross manner. For some unknown reason this does not kill him so he starts mutilating himself in all sorts of ways.

That is the story. It sounds like it would be cool but it is pulled off in a rather dull comedic manner. I don't think I laughed a single time. But this was just me. It doesn't mean that most people wouldn't find it funny. The gore was always welcome but, for my tastes, it wasn't gory enough (except the wrist scene). Listen for music from the Italian horror film "Demons" when he is slicing his belly open. I thought that was the only humorous part in the whole movie. 6/10
