Warning: Spoilers
*Born SPOILERS* Billie (Melanie Griffiths) is the epitome of the 'dumb blonde'; she is blonde and, well, dumb as a rock.

Her boyfriend (John Goodman) pays Paul (Don Johnson), a geeky, glasses-wearing journalist, to give her a little culture; what Paul does is making Billie conscious of the life she's living, of what she really wants and of who.

And during the lessons, there seems to be an alchemy between him and Billie that's hard to deny...

Having never seen the original movie with Judy Holliday, I can say that this remake is a nice comedy movie, and a good way to kill time.

The performances are run-of-the-mill (even if it was a refreshing change to see Don Johnson as a quiet guy, after a lot of his roles, like 'Miami Vice', 'Nash Bridges' and others), but we're not talking Academy Awards material here...

Born Yesterday (1993): 7/10.
