You lose your territory even after won the war!!!

That is exactly what in the Treaty of Versailles for China and its people. Imagine you facing this sort of treaty, would you sign it for your country and your people? Do you have the gut to face them when you got back to your country?

After winning the World War I as one of the Allies, China was given an article in the Treaty of Versailles, stating that the German concessions in Shandong, China to Japan. Yeah, like a gift, a piece of cake. Maybe that is what China was then, delicious pieces of cake to those western countries. And the western media at that time actually was shocked by the fact that nation-wide demonstrations and cultural movement were caused by this "treaty of peace". Maybe, they would never understand that China is not like Europe. They can have hundreds of tiny countries in Europe. But there could be only one united country in the land of China, yeah, you got it right, CHINA. Any power or individual that attempts to separate it would end up losing the game.

It is true that there is no politics for the weak countries. That is what the movie is about, to wake people in the world, how important it is to keep your country strong. That's why China and Chinese people try their very best to improve their situation in the world. The fittest survives.
