The Slave Isaura (2004–2005)
10/10
For those who love fairy tales...
6 November 2006
Actually I hate Soaps...But I love fairy tales, I love that old Disney's Classics, OK nobody is perfect and we all have our little secrets. I was waiting for the beginning of a TV show, Not "A Scrava..." when I led the TV on and I saw this old fashioned (in my opinion)Soap, with people dressed with costumes from the XIX century and I thought: oh my god this is gonna be a boring wait... Surprisingly, I've got hooked by the good script, and the villain Leoncio and the way he treated Isaura then I thought OK , not so bad... Next day, same wait, Isaura was the "Bridge" between two shows but it was really good , it wasn't boring at all, I was wondering about the male character, not Leoncio, he was a good villain and I didn't expect that Isaura will love him, the male character, the handsome prince from that old tales appeared at the middle of the story and wow! it worked!!! Bianca Rinaldi is perfect in her role, makes a pure and really innocent Isaura, as great as the whole cast. The story became a wonderful story, entertaining, not boring, and I fell for it, with beloved characters, and great acting and really great costumes, good locations, and the magic of love. The story of course is just a tale but don't forget about the reality of the slavism at that time. Sometimes the script becomes repetitive but it's not boring at all, you'll be hoping for Isaura's freedom and you will love this story. Personally, I love this soap, I haven't seen the original, but this one deserves a 10, if you believe in the magic of love, the good and the evil, and how everything could become better and most of all the power of freedom, I hope you watch this Soap, just one word: Wonderful (for those who love fairy tales).
