Walkabout (1971)

So beautiful
30 November 2006
An older sister and a younger brother become lost in the desert and are trying to survive the harsh conditions. With no water or rations they are very close to death until they are saved by an Aboriginie who is on his 'walkabout'.

WALKABOUT is an amazing film. It's definitely one of the best films of all time and definitely one of the best films to have ever been made in Australia. It's so stunning, so sad, so unusual and so ahead of its time. In fact it's definitely a near-perfect film. I love this film and I'd definitely highly recommend it to those people who are wanting to watch something different.
