Blood Sabbath (1972)

we loose interest, even in the nakedness
11 January 2007
This starts off OK and with so much hippy flesh on screen seems nothing can go wrong. Even when the water nymph in the flowing white dress emerging from the lake to seduce him before vanishing are fairly promising. And there are other elements to intrigue and titillate. Not least a nude Dyanne Thorne looking much more attractive than in her Ilsa films plus all the blood sacrifice and naked dancing but it all begins to pall. To make our dopey hero who falls for the nymph but has to lose his soul to qualify for her hand, a Vietnam vet is madness. So by around half way so many half working and distinctly not working story lines have been introduced that we loose interest, even in the nakedness.
