Review of Mystery Science Theater 3000

I love mst3k as much as any fan out there, but the cost of acquiring the dvds is quite disappointing. Id much rather rent them when I want them than pay 70.00 for a box set. I was quite surprised to see such prices (I'll blow a couple hundred a night in NYC but to pay 70.00 to view something a couple of times (at most) doesn't make sense to me) That said, I can't even seem to find them in video stores or at a decent price on half.com or anywhere else. Wondering if anyone knows where to get them at a fair price or a national chain that rents them.... If I don't get an answer ill prolly just buy em anyway but it seems like a waste
