Another Fantastic Episode Of The Simpsons(SPOILERS)

I have said it before and I will say it again, season six of the Simpsons was without a doubt by far the best season of the Simpsons ever. It had great and classic episodes, such as Treehouse of Horror Five, and Who Shot Mr. Burns?(Part One.) This is one of the best episodes in that season. It had fantastic and suspenseful, well, suspense. It is also one of the best Bart episodes ever.

Here is the plot of this episode. Bart is forced to look at the night sky with Principal Skinner after Bart sabotages a weather balloon. While Skinner is trying to catch the balloon Bart discovers a comet. The geeks in the school envy Bart because of that. Then they discover that the comet is heading for Springfield. Professor Frink sends a rocket towards it, trying to destroy the comet, but fails. Everyone panics. Luckily, Flanders had a bomb shelter. Every person in town goes in it. It is too packed. Flanders gets out. Then everyone gets out to join Flanders. The comet breaks apart and the shelter is destroyed.

Overall, this is a very well-done and suspenseful episode. I also find it very creepy that for some strange reason Homer knew that the comet was going to break apart. As he would say, "I'm scared, too." Plus, if you look in the shelter when everyone gets inside you can actually see Waldo from Where's Waldo and Spock from Star Trek. Those are nice little details that huge fans of the show, like me, like to point out.
