Review of Conqueror of Maracaibo

This is a amusing movie but a lowed budget. In the self decors utilized by Anthony Mann in THE CID, Eugenio Martin converted Peñiscola en Maracaibo. Helga Line, is a pretty women pirate but masked always and the Spanish actor Carlos Casaravilla, Barta Barrie, José Maria Cafarell and Luis Sánchez Polack "Tip" converted also in pirates characters. This movie is very fine, sympathetic and amusing. Martin not have money and the same set from THE CID. Well. The action is very professional, not is THE CRIMSON pirate but is one story something for children. The good pirate, here is a heroes and battle with the bad pirates. Idealism and not pretension.
