It's been 5 years since we saw anything new from the B5 universe, and 9 years since the original series ended.
These are two small stories that feel like they've been found from the script archives and dusted off for fans to see. As such they're not the greatest episodes of B5 ever, but they would definitely hold their own among seasons 1, 2 and 5. And with the updated CGI, B5 has certainly never looked better. The somewhat low budget does seem apparent at some points, such as the lack of people on the station, but that doesn't make or break these stories. The new title sequence is excellent, and Chris Franke's music sounds even better than in the series.
A must-buy for fans, so we can look forward to more adventures on DVD, and perhaps even the eventual feature film at some point.
