Un homme par hasard (2003 TV Movie)
6/10
Claire Keim weaves her magic
15 September 2007
The story is about a businesswoman, Léa Faber (portrayed by Claire Keim) who, to impress her new boss, tricks him into thinking that she has left her liberal ways behind, and is now getting ready to marry. She then introduces to her boss her husband-to-be (Frédéric Diefenthal), who is in fact a poor, depressed pianist she has just met 5 minutes ago. Things go pear-shaped when the pair are invited by Léa's boss for a weekend at his country house. Had it not been for Claire Keim's performance as the charming, beautiful Léa Faber, Un homme par hasard would have been a complete waste of time for anyone watching the film, and a waste of money for anyone financing and producing it. Claire Keim gives an energetic, sweet and touching performance that knocks out her co-actors, the directing, the script and the whole film in its entirety all in one go.
