I happened to watch After Death just because I'm a great fan of these walking brainless creatures. Made a reservation at first, anxious to see this movie and then rented it for 2 Euros. Everything looked so bad from the very start! The opening scene with this Voodoo ceremony, was totally rubbish while there are many movies connected to Voodoo that make your heart pump fast from terror. The acting was almost amateur and could in no way make you jump off your seat. Special effects were cheap and the plot - while it could be interesting under larger budget - was ruined by the bad script and the terrible appearance of the zombies. All zombies were...masked (!!!), apart from the main actors. Zombies talking, jumping like kangaroos and carrying...M16s!!! Well THAT was totally out of the original creatures we know. They looked like....armed vampires (or something) with superhuman powers. As for the story, the action started with no prologue at all! Many goofs! A total low budget movie! Just stay away! If you want to watch it, I warned you at least. / Regards, Panos - Greece
