Pretty silly and contrived, but it's a cute little film that's a lot of fun. Michael Douglas and Evan Rachel Wood have great chemistry on screen and it feels like they really are father and daughter. The story is really contrived and that gets pretty bothersome at times, but it's never too overwhelming. It's still easy to relax and enjoy the story; entertaining, for sure. There's also a commentary on consumerism and the lack of ambition in modern society that I thought was really well done. So overall it's a good adventure film with two very good, cute performances. Michael Douglas is at his best since Wonder Boys and I think it's fair to say it's Evan Rachel Wood's second best performance of her career.
