Warning: Spoilers
Hi there, i just viewed the whole pilot.

This is what i think and perhaps you might be thinking the same.

Does the new Knight Rider 2008 have a few characteristics like the show "viper" with the transformations of different looks of the car?

Also some scenes you can tell that it is not real when the car is driving on the main road and zoomed out. It actually doesn't look like a car but like a bubble just floating. Also at the end of the show when kitt is driven by the new guy "Mike" out of the plane... Com'on! that is not the best cgi i have seen.

Watching the retro Knight Rider, every time kitt drove out of the Semi, it was filmed in real life, no background scene or prop for kitt.

Stunts back then were real and you can sit back in your seat thinking man this is good stuff knowing or feeling that you are playing that role if your were a kid. Now kids are play a lot of video games and you cant fool them as you used to. Don't get me wrong... some retro Knight rider stunts had models in a lot of awkward jumps but i think i find that more realistic then cgi in this show.

I've been watching Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles and that is more believable with computer generated scenes but watching Knight rider 2008.

Also i kind of liked the new show, but the fighting scenes are not a match of the retro Knight rider fight scenes, the new show looks that the actors are too prepared for what is about to happen and don't really show enthusiasm. Maybe they might want to use some terminators in the show as watching the Terminator series when the robots are fighting and and throwing each other through walls and stuff, now that is something to watch.

I don't mind Ford but not a very good idea. Isn't there a new Pontiac being made that is super hot? Even when the Trans AM was aired in the 80s there was no constant display of the Pontiac Logo. I agree... a ford commercial just too damn expensive i say.

And kitt got damaged when he was offline. What is that all bout. The retro kitt was designed to withstand any punishment when offline. What are the chances of the car being offline and that would mean it is made vulnerable as a thief can break the glass and hop in and try to steal it... I'm not sure if they succeed as there is probably high tech computer system to bypass.

But the car could then be picked up by a fork lift and sent to the compactor and crushed into a cube!

The pilot of the retro Knight Rider had the Car jumping through a truck and explosions. Could this mustang fly with the potential weight it has or are the scenes all made in cgi?? And what about Ski Mode... i would be laughing to see if this mustang can drive on its side on two wheels!!!

I thought it was just really poor story... I mean if this is the Knight Industries Three Thousand, how could it already have a hacker try to control kitt's system. That means every hacker would be having a field day knowing they can get kitt (mustang) and then selling the car on Ebay!!
