Review of 90210

90210 (2008–2013)
9/10
Better than I thought but nothing compared to the original
17 September 2008
At first I thought that this show was going to be terrible since most shows that get remade, the original is always better but this is pretty good and at least we have some actors from the original "90210" appear every now and then. After watching the two hour pilot episode, I wasn't too sure so I thought I better watch next week's episode and then I easily got addicted. Basically the series is about the Wilson family's transition from Kansas to California and their new life in California. It's good to see Rob Estes back on TV again, I haven't seen him on TV since "Melrose Place" (a spin-off to the original 90210). But it's good that this remake decided to do the right thing and have some familiar faces from the original "90210" appear because most remakes to old TV shows don't really that everyday. Other than the some familiar faces, a few of the new actors are pretty good like Shenae Grimes (who plays Annie) is pretty cute and Jessica Stroup (who plays Silver) is pretty hot too. But I wonder why this show went to The CW when the original 90210 and the spin-offs of the original 90210 aired on FOX? But I guess The CW has went all out putting effort into promoting this show and all. But overall pretty good.
