It was 12 years since the last "Clerks" movie but in between the first and second we at least got to have 4 spin-off movies of Jay & Silent Bob and a cartoon series even though it didn't last long but I'm glad they made a second Clerks even though a lot of late sequels in this decade (the 2000's) suck except for this one. The movie picks up 10 years later from the last "Clerks" movie, Dante Hicks (Brian O'Halloran) & Randall Graves (Jeff Anderson) now work at Mooby's (a fictional fast food restaurant) after the Quick Stop burnt down. Dante Hicks is now engaged to his fiancée Emma Bunting (Jennifer Schwalbach Smith) and they plan on moving to Florida as Dante spends his last day in New Jersey but at the same time Dante has a thing for his boss, Becky Scott (Rosario Dawson). We are also introduced to a new character, Elias (Trevor Fehrman) who is a 19 year old Christian and who is a big fan of "Lord of the Rings" and "Transformers", he is also frequently subjected to Randall's brand of social abuse. As always, you can't have a "Clerks" movie without our favorite stoner duo, Jay & Silent Bob (Jason Mewes & Kevin Smith) who now hang out in front of Mooby's selling weed and doing other random stuff. Hilarious sequel, I didn't expect that this would happen but I'm glad it did.
