Worst then the series, really bad, especially because it pretends to be a movie...

Warning: Spoilers
I've seen part of the series and it wasn't like this, nobody can say that "Xena" series were a masterpiece, but we can see two episodes in-a-row that it stills funny and probably you go on to the third... This movie makes you wish that a bolt destroys the general power of your building!

Locations with wide landscapes obviously filmed on a set (except some New Zealand ones), abuse of smoke to make you do not repair in the mistakes and the studio walls, bad cinematography, awful special-effects, even worst screenplay and to do not contrast, the nastiest actors ever casted. A really flat crew, except the natural attributes of Xena (Lucy Lawless) and Gabrielle (Renée O'Connor).

Although, there were nice fight scenes and the costumes seems to be appropriate for the time. Something that I didn't understand was the thinking of the director Robert G. Tapert about the truly lesbian mean conversations, feeling and actions between the two main actresses of this direct to video one; was that the intention?! Was it necessary?! Was it part of the story?!?! So much focus on the kisses between them… Why?!?! Didn't believe in me? Take a look at this Xena quote: "Gabrielle, if I'd only have thirty seconds to live, that's how I'd want to live them, looking into your eyes."

Don't waste your time; you can be sure there are thousands of better options for you to spend sometime on the armchair.
