Review of Earth

Earth (2007)

A Film Worthy of Walt

Warning: Spoilers
I think Mr. Disney would have been quite pleased with this film.

Overall, it doesn't try to persuade anyone to believe anything about our planet other than there is much we still need to learn. It proves we are learning about ecosystems, and warming trends, and how the circle of life goes on and on.

I especially liked how it didn't try to pin blame for anything on anybody. We all live together on this unique place we call earth, and we are all equally responsible for taking care of it.

There is no attempt here to start a conflict. There is a beautiful, sensitive and caring portrayal of several aspects of our world as many of us have never seen it before.

Music and narration were wonderful! It stirred the soul and excited the audience in many ways. I overheard many gasps and "Ooohs!" and "Ahhs!" from the folks around me.

Bottom line is I think it will help us all think a bit differently about our world.
