The backdoor pilot of Knight Rider was shown in the UK last night (12th May 2009). I really enjoyed it mainly because it kept it's links back to the old KITT but also because it has kept the continuity. I saw on here that the car is said to be a a Ford. Is this correct as they kept showing the Viper logo. I did notice at the end the gratuity to Ford though. The Hoff is still as wooden as ever :>) but that's what made it good 20 years ago. The series continues next week. Also a bit strange in that the trailer for this shows the car with ram tubes on the bonnet but never saw then in the pilot. Perhaps this is a later update or another gadget we haven't seen yet. The death of his mother was a bit predictable. What were the keys she gave him. Didn't see anything after that about them?
