Wartime lesson short is rather dated
11 November 2009
Warning: Spoilers
Wartime lesson short that MGM occasionally inflicted upon its audiences that has the kids going to a club meeting and griping about how the war has put a crimp in their life styles. Its amusing to a point but plays rather badly now since times have changed too much. Mostly the kids sound like spoiled brats (I'm sure that if anything similar were ever to happen today kids today would sound so much worse.) As anything other than a curio of a passed time this film really doesn't play all that well. it was designed to work during the war and I doubt that it had any real life outside of wartime theaters. I can't imagine wanting to put this film on for any reason other than for educational purposes. if you're feeling the need to see a film from the second world war I suggest giving it a try, other wise I'd take a pass.
