Review of The Frost

The Frost (2009)
8/10
The Smiling Dead Son
18 November 2009
Warning: Spoilers
This is from the most touching films I have ever seen in my entire Life. Being based on a play by Ibsen, gives it a very solid coherent story, with very emotional drama. After watching the film you may feel somehow perplexed and confused, but I guess that this is intentional. You will discover new meanings about death and life, hope and grief, marriage and love. Whether you like the film or not, this scene of the dead son smiling under the water will stick in your mind and may change something inside you. If this film is Hollywoodian, I think it would take its place among best 100 films of all time. My advice: see this film whenever you find it.
