Once again this series does not disappoint with another story that is gripping and has a personal element as one of the suspects/potential victims is former lover of Linda, from the time before she joined the police. The episode opens with a couple arguing on board a boat and after the man departs somebody turns up and murdered the woman; was it the man returning or somebody else and if it was somebody else what was their motive?
The chief suspect lives on a commune where Linda is surprised to find an old boy friend, as the investigate the case she lets slip some details which will have serious consequences for both Linda and the people of the commune. As always the acting is good and while the story is perhaps a little far fetched it doesn't cross the boundaries of believability.
