Complex and brilliant
16 April 2010
Everything will be Fine presents a story that might seem confusing, and will very likely throw off a large portion of the audience. The hints to the true story are extremely vague and it is not before the very end of the movie that a slightly clearer, but still confusing hint is given. This leaves the audience in deep wonder, but gives them the opportunity to debate it for a long time after the movie has ended and offers a moment of joy when each individual person finally has a moment of clarity and grasps the concept of the movie. It is almost an epiphany, if you will.

Everything will be Fine is a complex and brilliant story. The plot twist will surprise and confuse many people and to grasp the full picture, and to have all the pieces of the puzzle match up, you just might have to watch the movie twice. In truth, you might enjoy it more the second time, where it is easier to connect the dots as the story unfolds. I for one, find it exceedingly refreshing to experience a movie that I actually enjoyed more the second time I saw it. Not many movies manages to get better and better. Is having to watch a movie twice to truly fathom it a good thing? You decide.
