found this video in a thrift store for 50 cents. I'd never heard of it before. I look for rare, odd videos to sell on the internet. after watching the first few minutes to check on the video's quality - a scene where "Rick" (Hauer) screws and insults a prostitute on a park bench, I had to take it over to my girlfriend's to watch. we ended up watching the whole thing, blowing off a movie she'd rented (Avatar! we'll watch it later). we haven't laughed so hard in our lives. Mystery Science Theater couldn't keep up with this film. it's hard to believe Rutger Hauer went on to such greatness in films like Bladerunner and The Hitcher. "Dandelion" - from the opening credits to the slam dunk ending - is a dandy, firmly entrenched in the "so bad it's good" genre. watch it with friends and a bottle of spirits. you won't be disappointed.
