I didn't expect much. After all, it's a low budget documentary. But it was so heartfelt, moving, involving. With beautiful cinematography. But it wasn't an art film that was geared to a very specific audience. It wasn't precious. I don't like precious artsy movies. It was tough. But it was such a refreshing movie to watch also. It kept me totally glued to the screen. There was tension in the movie. I wanted to see what happened next to this amazing family who were just trying to live a good, full,simple life while forces pushed against them. I was pulling for them the whole way.
