Tucker Max is a very funny writer. This movie was a solid idea taken in the wrong direction. Honestly the only real reason it failed at all is because most people who want to watch it want to see what they have always imagined Tucker doing. I watched an interview where Tucker and Nils talked about making a movie that had something to it. Something that was more than just a weekend story. That would be great if no one had understood previously what Tucker Max is all about. If this movie had been about a crazy trip to New Jersey that landed them in Harlem while drunk and they threw in the occasional midget fack it would have been a much bigger hit with audiences. Lesson here: Don't make something that it isn't.
