Warning: Spoilers
Don Quintin leaves his wife when he thinks she has been cheating on him and the baby is not his. Blinded by anger ends up with the only two men who always stay by his side, regardless of his stubbornness and tantrums. The wife, poor and sick, unable to take care of the baby girl, abandons her. The family who take her in is also very poor, but they also have a baby, so it won't be so difficult to feed two girls instead of one. Martha (Don Quintin's daughter) grows up and meets Paco, but her new father is so aggressive and jealous and tries to stop them, so Martha decides to run away and marry Paco. Martha's mother never recovered and, almost dying, confesses to Don Quintín who finally listens and understands the mistake he made by leaving, so to make amends, he starts looking for that daughter he doesn't know but now loves. Destiny makes Don Quintín cross paths with his daughter in an almost tragic way, but when they both realize their blood ties one question is inevitable: when will I have a grandson?
