I just don't get how can people hate this movie. The cast is good, the story is good, and damn the plot twist at the end is insane. Though for some people it is insanely good or insanely irritating.
This movie is all about terror, I've never seen a movie that gives you pure terror like this.
The ending was definitely the most important part. At the beginning you would thought that this is the kind of movie like Taken or other kidnapping movie, but the end will really (maybe) get you.
I guess to understand and love this movie, you have to have "that" dark thing in yourselves. I personally loved it.
*** Spoilers Alert **** There's one thing though that I want the viewers to understand, no one won the battle. Jack/Roberto thought he had won but he has actually been fooled. And the St.Muertes maybe got their hands on Toby, and Toby's mind has been injected by the cult's persuasion. But will she did it or not is out of the question.
It maybe sounds corny and all but its all about the battle between love and evil, will Roberto's love wins Toby's heart, or the muerte will conquer Toby?
