Poor Eurospy entry
15 April 2012
Warning: Spoilers
What a mess! "Date For A Murder" could have been a decent Eurospy (it is shot in and around Rome, and the lead, George Ardisson, had already had genre experience), but it's very badly directed by Mino Guerrini, who seems to have assembled the scenes out of order! As a result, the story is difficult to follow right from the start, and we have to put up with his amateurish camera tricks, as well (think Jess Franco at his worst). Halina Zalewska, as the spoiled daughter of a millionaire, tries to inject some spunk into the dead proceedings, but it's a lost cause. Apart from her few scenes, the only other thing I'll probably remember out of this film is a bad guy's motor-wheelchair! * out of 4.
