Ha! Awesome.

Warning: Spoilers
As an American who lived in Germany for nearly five years, I LOVE this movie. Partially because it feels like they wrote the script in German, then translated it to English but didn't change the context for an English-speaking audience for it to have a greater impact or more relevance to the situation. Or saying things like "why are you looking at me like this?" Classic.

There are bits of humor that are specific to German culture and language. E.g. after a discussion about why they broke up, one of the characters gives another a bottle of fig schnapps, called "feigling" and says this comes from the bottom of her heart. In German, Feigling means coward or weakling. Lots of fun little bits like that that made me smile.

That being said, this was pulled off well. Most zombie movies are cheesy and, while it's not cheese-free, this was refreshingly different. Not too gory. Not too cliché. I like that these people are actually smart (med students, knowledge of epidemiology and viruses) who find themselves in a crazy situation.
