Let's start of with this. This show has a script. Ramsey ain't that angry all the time in real life. If you watch his other show, where he travel around the world to get a culinary experience from different cultures, he is really humble and nice.
The guests that comes to hell's kitchen are all invited and know very well that they might not get served.
And i would guess that the chefs follow a scrips as well. No people can be this stupid. First three episodes there are only chaos in the kitchen. And all these are supposed real chefs. So in my mind they should be able to work with other people in the kitchen. It always takes them a few days to choose a head chef in the kitchen and even then they bi*ch around. in real life, any one would take control if he/she notice this ain't working. But here no they continue to fail, to the last episodes. They follow a script! (This and that you cant do in the beginning. And shout at each other, it creates views!)
This is guilty pleasure to watch, far from a really good show. But it does what it is supposed to do.
