Triumphant
5 October 2012
Rosa Karo's triumphant feature debut, The Italian Key, invites viewers to settle in and partake in a series of quiet moments -- in both the past and present day -- that together comprise a life-affirming exploration of self-realization, family, friendship, community and romance. And, it does so across generational, ethnic and cultural boundaries.

The film's budget is not in evidence as its high production values showcase independent filmmaking at its finest. Majestic cinematography, lush scenery and locations in the United Kingdom, Italy and India add to the fairy tale-like, yet complex story; perfectly matched with Tuomas Kantelinen's enchanting score.

The Italian Key is destined to become a classic among those who are willing to accept the film's challenge to "unlock your heart."
