9/10
Haunting, small, convincing.

First of all: I cannot second my fellow reviewer's report that this is a B-movie. Maybe it depends on, what you consider a B-movie to b(e).

The fate of main character Andy got me right from the start. I am no big fan of the animated tale subplot, although it is nicely made, it kind of looks like a foreign body in the movie. Maybe I just don't get it. But beyond that, this movie is exactly that kind of little marvel I'm looking for when watching indie movies. The story is haunting, I like the performance of Andy actor Lee Baxter. You just don't know what is about to happen while you follow the story, and I can second that you have to look closely on all the tiny things that happen and that you can see. If you like dark, almost depressing movies and if you are ready to let the movie take you on an unknown journey, this will be absolutely right for you. Just do not expect big budget effects or expensive filmmaking.
