Losing stars fast...
2 November 2012
As a drama I might have given this 4 stars for a decent premise. Beyond the ever-consistent Greg Serano and Arye Gross (neither of whom receive the screen time they deserve), the disarming Andrew Hoeft (seriously...where has this kid gone??), the acting was mediocre at best and even the decent actors were often sabotaged by trite dialogue.

Moreover, as a show about horse racing (or even horses in general) it has to be the most poorly researched, horrendously filmed series I've ever seen. I could forgive a lot if the creators had bothered to put even the tiniest bit of effort into accurately portraying the equestrian world purportedly driving this show (certainly not the case in reality).

I made it halfway through the second season solely on the hope that it would improve but the blatant inconsistencies and implausible scenarios make it about unbearable.
