This movie is AWESOME!!! It is the film by which I will judge all future low-budget movies on the SciFi channel or Lifetime Network. John Schneider excels in his role as a walking corpse. And the Snow Beast itself is just plain ORNERY!! The acting is unique. The story line is unique. I especially enjoyed the complete disregard for the discovery of a body. The lack of interest by the police in an animal that vandalizes snowmobiles was also a new twist that I particularly enjoyed. And it was profoundly disturbing that the field biologists (the central characters) mistook the Snow Beast for "a bear - but I'm not sure which species". These were very bad biologists indeed. And frankly the Snow Beast wasn't much of a snow beast if it couldn't even catch up to field biologists running through snow drifts. in summary, this movie is NOT TO BE MISSED.
