What a strange fan-service anime
1 September 2013
This is my first review focusing on any fan-service anime OVA, put under the genre Ecchi.

"Jungle de Ikou" is an anime OVA, which mostly focuses on fan-service and weird humor. It was made by director Yuyi Moriyama, year 1997.

There are NO spoilers in this review, just the basic plot and the content generally, so you can feel free to read this review. ;-)

Basic plot: A schoolgirl named Natsumi Rokudo receives ancient sculpture from her archaeological father, without knowing that a demon named Ongo is sealed in it. In one night she dreams about a spirit named Ahem telling her about a legend about the awakening of Ongo (who will in the worst case destroy the Earth), as well as telling her to do a "sexy tribal dance" in order to transform into Mii, the spirit of flower, fertility and reproduction. And when Natsumi awakens from the dream, small Ongo appears in front of Natsumi's eyes...

Enough about the plot in order to avoid spoilers, this is just the beginning of what happens to be a humorous adventure filled with hilarious fan-service (which involves huge breasts and panty shots), so I think the fans of this kind of anime will probably "get some nosebleed", according to what a Japanese myth says. The animation is very 90s, hence the fact this 3-part OVA-series was made in 1997. The action itself is enough to keep you entertained. The opening sequence is just weird. Not exactly an anime OVA to be viewed to children, just to have it warned.

So basically I will recommend fans of Ecchi-anime to watch this at least once. Several other fan-service Animes include: "Megami Paradise", "Puni Puni Poemi", "Agent Aika", "Arcade Gamer Fubuki" and "Labyrinth of Flames".

So "get some nosebleeds", folks... ;-)
