This movie really took me for a loop. When I first began it, I thought oh no, another cheesy,war-themed, buddy movie. But as the plot started to unfold and the game credits began to roll, I was completely into it. As a film enthusiast and a gamer, this movie was kind of the best of both worlds. Who hasn't played their favorite RPG and thought, "Man, this would be awesome to play first hand!" Plus, its hilarious. Virtually Heroes has that cheeky sense of humor and unique style Corman's known for as well as a new take on video game cinema that is surprisingly entertaining! I would definitely recommend this for gamers, Corman fans, and anyone looking for a nice funny film.
