You could tell Scooby Doo would be legendary.

Warning: Spoilers
The first ever episode involves a legend that when then moon is full, the "Black Knight" an ancient suit of armor originally from England, comes alive. The gang tries to uncover this mystery at the museum where the Black Knight tends to reside, but not without the typical frights for the gang in the process

I've seen this episode a few times in my life, but not for quite a few years. All I could think about while revisiting this one is how much fun I was having. There was no BS, or any reality type histrionics, it was just simple entertainment to please families of all ages. The whole gang oozes charisma. It just had a formula that worked, and still does to this day. This episode is rather atmospheric. It takes place in a creepy museum, with many laughs as well. Whether it's Scooby going nuts over a simple frog, or the over the top teeth chattering from Scooby, or corny knight jokes from Shaggy, it all makes you chuckle and smile. Since I'm much older now, I guessed who the culprit was behind the Black Knight pretty early, but I still had a ton of fun with the ride. The final shot is classic when Scooby messes around in the black knight get-up. You can't go wrong with Scooby, no matter what mood you're in. This episode is fantastic
