I just saw Cry, The Beloved Country for the first time. James Earl Jones and Richard Harris did a stunning job as usual. The writers and directors did a extremely good job as well as the whole cast. I didn't read the book but I know Jones and Harris would stay true to it. This movie came in a triple pack of 28 movies for $5. I couldn't pass it up especially with all the great actors like Denzel Washington, Dennis Hopper, James Earl Jones, Samual L Jackson, Chritopher Lambert and many, many more in this movie pack. It's one of best of them all. The story line of Cry, The Beloved Courty does start slow but picks up in the middle of the movie. In my opinion Cry, The Beloved Country is a must watch movie!
