Does anyone read anymore? How hard it is to follow a book? Very disappointed in the movie. Had maybe a 15 percent relation to the book. More than half the movie takes place in India
.they never went to India. So much was left out and the story lines are all mess up starting from the beginning of the movie. More than one third of the characters are not even used. Was looking forward to a Hollywood glamour film. The book was about Queenie's rise to stardom and power in Hollywood while trying to hide her past. Queenie and Morgan stole a rich woman's bracelet, who later in the book causes trouble, to get to England. Uncle Morgan wasn't hit by a car, Queenie killed him. She marries David. She gets into a horrible car accident and goes to a plastic surgeon in Mexico where she meets a Prince and marries him. This then becomes the basis of the book. Their relationship. Nothing else to say. Read the book and get back to me.
