This flick was awful from the get go! Yes I get that it is a parallel to Elvis & his twin brother, but Oh Brother!!! The lead in the film, Black Rayne, sings flat through the entire movie. The acting and filming is as amateur as one could get. I've seen student films with much great potential. Obviously they chose Blake for his good looks and not his talent cause oh buddy did he fizzle. With so many religious overtones it seemed a little too preachy for my personal taste. Ashley Judd and Ray Liotta must have been really hard up for cash to sink this low. Campy!! Campy!!! Campy!!!!! In the end I would have rather spent my money on a new Elvis CD and listened to someone who could actually carry a tune. I give this one two thumbs down.
