Not a bad yarn.

An interesting take on Australians joining the Wehrmacht. As this actually did occur, before the government prevented it; the film offers a different view the events from a light hearted German perspective.

It shows the main characters doing their recruit training and brought back memories of my own, as there were similarities.

I had to laugh at the cabaret scene, when the boxing kangaroo had its tail ripped off. It sprayed the people at their tables in sawdust and made them dance about a bit.

From what it is, how it was made and what it portrays, there isn't anything offensive about it and I enjoyed it.
