Review of Episodes

Episodes (2011–2017)
Good enough comedy with a Matt LeBlanc who is actually funny.

This is a comedy supposedly about the world of L.A. based TV media. You get a glimpse at least of the way network television works, the stars, the studios, the deals, the brunches...

In a "fishes out of the water" situation, 2 British writers (a happily married couple actually) are persuaded to go to Los Angeles and run a version of their successful UK show at the US. We follow them as they are learning the hard way, how difficult is to maintain the integrity of their work with all these producers, managers, lead actors etc.

Matt LeBlanc is hired to star on their show as a fictionalized (as far as I know) version of himself. More arrogant and crude and cynic and superficial.

Well... Matt LeBlanc is the only reason to watch this show. He isn't monopolize the on-screen time but the parts which he is in, are by far the best.

The writers couple (played by Tamsin Greig and Stephen Mangan) are adequate on screen but I doubt someone would watch "Episodes" if it wasn't of LeBlanc. He won a gold globe for the part and some emmy nominations too.

Overall. It's watchable of course. Sometimes really funny if not hilarious. 4th season just started. Check it out!
