This is the eighth episode of the fourth season of the Walking Dead. I will not be hard-pressed to say that it's my favorite episode of the series. The episode is not about the walkers for once, but the relationship between two "nations." This is the episode where the Governor makes his final assault on the prison which culminated in the heart-breaking loss of Herschel. The ending is also quite sad, heart- breaking sad.
In this episode, "Too Far Gone," The Governor takes Herschel and Michonne captive to overtake the prison and he issues an ultimatum to Rick to leave the prison. But Rick refuses to back down and thus a war breaks out with both sides suffering major losses.
Overall, this was a fantastic episode, probably the best episode of this season so far. There were many emotional moments ad it's a shame we had to lose such an influential figure like Herschel. This is the end of an era as it seems the prison is no more. I rate this episode 10/10.
