I'm guessing the two lead characters knew the director. Would have cost them less too. Disappointed to see these two in the job. It kinda feels like you're watching a school play. Sure they're fresh faced new kids on the block, but I'll have my $24 back thanks Hoyts.
The special effects were disappointing and lets be honest, it was clear the main part was Australian, so why was there an American flag at the end of the film? The blue-screen effects were too obvious & storyline parts (like the tribe) didn't seem to be explained well enough.
My 5 year old enjoyed it, and that's the main thing. I guess if it can be dubbed with American accents it may make it that much more bearable.
