6/10
A honest comedy worth the shot
13 March 2015
This was one heck of a good movie, with some awkward moments due to the fault of editing. Overall the acting was sound, the humor was fast and mixed with great chemistry. Some parts of the dialogue the jokes can become overly excessive, more like back to back, to back to back (you get my point). The production cost was kind of low budget for such an awesome cast of stars. I loved the Clue plot with a Scream twist, and I love the comedic genius of Debra Wilson and Rae Chong, plus I was delighted by Anne Marie Johnsons acting and humor. One person stood out above the rest, and it wasn't for his comedic approach, but just his stage presence, Preston Davis held a powerful aura each time on camera, I had loved to have seen his character utilized more in the storyline to draw on the plot of "who did it". I could had guess anyone for the killer accept for Preston. He was just too wholesome and positive. The beginning of the movie is worth skipping, Omarosa is stunning and brilliant, but didn't play her part convincingly well. I love Jackee, but also felt that her role was underutilized, out of all the cast, her could had added the clever zingers and punch lines with effortless flare, but sadly the director kept her character one dimensional. I will give this movie a 6 out of 10 stars simply because it was a surprise comedy, I wasn't expecting to have been as entertained as I was. I hope to see more movies like this, but let's increase the budget a tad bit more.
